Not only did Maggio fail to replace my roof in the time agreed upon and fail to adequately protect the house in the meantime, thereby leaving my interior exposed to rain resulting in some $15K worth of water damage to plaster, wood floors, ceilings, etc., but the new roof leaked for 2 years. They did finally solve that problem this past fall. Also, when replacing my gutter (part of the roofing contract), the workers tore out much of the brick work at the top of the house leaving gaping holes. Not surprisingly, birds have moved in to the gaps. When I asked Maggio about it, I was told it was to be expected on a 100+ year old home. Perhaps so (although my pointing and brickwork is otherwise is good condition) and now we have to remove the new gutter to have the masonery repaired. It would have been nice to have been informed about this at the time of the damage.

i recently had an estimate prepared by them... i'd avoid them...
Maggio roofing knows what they are talking about... and comes with a lifetime warranty on their work... sort of $$$... but likely worth it for the warranty...

We are needing to replace both flat roofs on our house. Can anyone recommend a good flat roof company? Has anyone had any experience with either Maggio Roofing or Wagner Roofing? -If so, what was your experience?

Have a neighbor down the street who was very happy with Maggio... and I just learned their work carries a lifetime guarantee...

We used Star Roofing three years ago without any problems. He even put in two skylights. Price was reasonable and work was very good. |
Thanks for the feedback everyone! I am getting a quote from Maggio on Monday and hope to get an estimate from L and M, hopefully in my lifetime. -I will also look into Star Roofing.

I don't have any experience w/either of the two you ask about, but I can definitely recommend L&M Roofing. Dave Lindeman is the ultimate pro. He's not cheap but you get the best there is...if you can get on their calendar, that is. I'm sorry I don't have their number handy, but it's easy to find in the yellow pages or directory assistance. Good luck!
