The Metropolitan Police Department announced today that Leroy Jenkins will be charged with the Sept. 1 murder of Rahim Winston, 33, on the 300 block of Kentucky Avenue, SE. Jenkins, from Capital Heights, Md., was apprehended Sept. 18 and will be charged with Murder Two.

Winston was found with multiple stab wounds in front of 331 Kentucky Ave., SE, after officers responded to a call there at approximately 12:05 a.m. on Sept. 1. The victim, also from Capital Heights, Md., was rushed to the Howard University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
It could not be determined when Jenkins would be arraigned.
