Southwest Capitol Hill advisory neighborhood commission (ANC 6D)
writes, "
At its Dec. 10 meeting, the Southwest advisory neighborhood commission:

• voted to support the new Washington Nationals baseball stadium’s liquor license. Some commissioners said they were worried that if they protested the application, the license could be granted outside the Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration, resulting in no city oversight.

• voted to support zoning changes for The Yards, an upcoming mixed-use development between M Street and the Anacostia River in Southeast.

• unanimously voted to ask the D.C. Council to convert an abandoned warehouse near Jefferson Middle School into an aquatic center.
"
• unanimously voted to request up to $1,500 from the city for expenses moving the commission’s office.

• unanimously voted to support the May 4 Brain Tumor Society 5k race route, which will cross into the commission’s boundaries between 9 and 10:15 a.m. on 3rd and 2nd streets SW between C and D streets.

• unanimously voted to request that Potbelly Sandwich Works coupons be distributed by the James Creek Resident Council. The free sandwich coupons are part of an amenities package that was negotiated in exchange for the commission’s support for an outdoor seating at the upcoming Southwest chain sandwich shop.

• heard an update on H2O’s liquor-license renewal and on waterfront establishment Zanzibar’s effort to change its liquor license from a restaurant license to a nightclub license, which commissioner Max Skolnik said he opposed.
